Hair loss is an extremely common issue that both men and women deal with. As the years go by, more and more claims of miracle solutions arise, however it is difficult to tell what works and what doesn’t!
At Beauty World we offer scalp micro-pigmentation, a procedure in which we inject pigments into the patient’s scalp. This pigment mimics the look of natural hair, and is a far less costly alternative to procedures such as hair transplants.
How does Scalp Micro-Pigmentation Work?
Scalp Micro-Pigmentation works by injecting special pigments under the scalp, in the area that requires correction. The pigments are meant to mimic the look of your natural hair, and hairline. Because the pigment is positioned to generally create a hairline (or enhancing a receding hairline), the procedure must be performed by trained aesthetic technicians!
Scalp micro-pigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses detailed micro-needles (similar to tattooing) that deposits these faux follicles into the patient’s scalp, creating the appearance of thicker, fuller hair.
The treatment helps:
- Restore receding hairlines.
- Thickens the appearance the remaining hair.
- Hides the appearance of scars or blemishes on the scalp (sometimes from a previous transplant surgery or otherwise)
Creates the look of closely cropped, lined up hair.
Who is the best candidate for Scalp Micro-Pigmentation?
Generally, the procedure is done on men. As they tend to experience receding hairlines or male pattern baldness, at a much higher rate than women. Also, men tend to wear more close-cropped short hair styles. The most common clients for this procedure include men who are suffering from minor or major hair thinning and or male pattern baldness. This gives them the confidence and restored hairline to take on the world.
Despite these factors, many of our past patients have been female as well. Many women who have receding hairlines or are losing hair at the edges of their scalp enjoy the fullness and the added volume that Scalp Micro-Pigmentation can provide.
